Registrations, Payments, Entry Fees,
Refund & Transfer Policy

Registrations are completed online and can be paid by credit card or PayPal via Comps Online. 

Once a registration is received, it will be processed and confirmed by our staff. All fees then become non-refundable under a strict 100% cancellation/no-show policy — this includes being unable to attend due to COVID-19 related circumstances (including contracting COVID-19). This forms part of the agreement when registering.

Once paid, entry fees are absorbed and allocated towards administration, staffing, and event running costs.

Transfers to another Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups competition are only possible under the following circumstances and must be supported by a medical certificate or similar evidence:

• Injury

If you request a transfer due to illness, broken bone, surgery, or bereavement, the following applies:

A. The competition you wish to transfer to must not be full.
B. If it is more than 60 days before the competition start date and the draft program has not yet been released, you may transfer with a $1.00 per dancer fee.
C. You cannot transfer to another event if the draft program has already been released.
D. You cannot transfer a routine if it is not ready for the competition you originally entered.
E. No transfers are permitted for change of mind, clashes with another competition, school clashes, or similar reasons.

Entries paid via a school cannot be transferred or refunded if the teacher changes schools. Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups will not become involved in such disputes.

By registering for the competition and ticking the box at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all rules, terms, and conditions regarding payment of fees/registrations, and will not contest them.

If you have made a genuine mistake (e.g., duplicate entries) or performer or performers are  injured (with proof), we will transfer your entry to another one of our competitions only if the above criteria are met.

By entering the competition, you acknowledge that Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups is providing an event that is a competition.

Please note: if the event is rescheduled due to venue changes, COVID-19 lockdowns, or similar circumstances, the above terms remain binding.

Entries cannot be transferred or refunded if you are unable to attend, as all fees have already been allocated to event costs.

All participants — including dancers, singers, parents/caregivers, teachers, directors, volunteers, and patrons — agree to indemnify and hold harmless Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups, its committee members, staff, and volunteers against all actions, claims, costs, or liabilities arising from participation, including but not limited to loss of property or personal injury.

Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups takes full care but accepts no responsibility for injuries or lost property.

Anyone entering or performing at a venue where an Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups event is held does so at their own risk. Neither the organisers, staff, nor volunteers are liable for loss, damage, injury, or death to any attendee or their property.

If the event proceeds (even with date changes) and you withdraw for any reason, including illness, COVID-19 isolation, injury, or no-show, no refund or transfer will be granted unless the section itself is cancelled by the Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups team.

Sections may be combined if entry numbers are low.

If a refund is granted in exceptional cases (e.g., double entry mistake), it will only be provided at the event itself.

The Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups team reserves the right to amend the program at any time. By registering, you agree to this and waive any claim for refund under these conditions.

INDEMNITY

All attendees, by registering and taking part in Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups competitions — including but not limited to dancers, singers, parents/caregivers, teachers, directors, volunteers, and patrons — agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups, its committee members, staff, and operators, both on a commercial and personal basis, against all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, and expenses whatsoever which may arise against Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups, its directors, staff, or volunteer members in the course of carrying out their duties in relation to the event and its rules.

This indemnity extends to, but is not limited to, loss of property or personal injury to any person attending the competitions.

INJURY OR LOSS

There is an inherent risk of injury involved with performing and athletic activity.

Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups makes no warranties or representations, either expressed or implied, to prevent injuries to individual participants.

Performers and teachers acknowledge that participation in dance competitions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to sprains, bruises, pulled muscles, and broken bones.

By entering this competition, performers, guardians, and teachers accept these risks and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups, its officers, directors, officials, staff, employees, and/or the hosting facility for any injuries sustained or illnesses contracted while attending or participating in any activity related to an Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups competition. Neither Infinity Education Dance and Vocal Groups nor the hosting facility are responsible for personal injury to contestants or spectators.
